Same Old Face
Went to a movie the other night
About a movie director who was always up for a fight
He wouldn't sit for any racist crap
But man could he keep them dames on track
Same old face with the same old attitude
Same old face with the same old attitude
How come hatred is something we can't seem to lose
Met a guy who in the sixties marched for peace
We had a little chat about the Middle East
He wouldn't want to hurt a fly
But man would he love to see them Arabs die
Same old face with the same old attitude
Same old face with the same old attitude
How come hatred is something we can't seem to lose
Walked home through the university
Our bright young future stumbling right past me
Drunken, shouting everything's ok
That is, unless you happen to turn out gay
Same old face with the same old attitude
Same old face with the same old attitude
How come hatred is something we can't seem to lose
Went home to praise myself for being such a good head
Looked in the mirror what did I see instead
The same old face with the same old attitude
Same old face with the same old attitude
How come hatred is something we can't seem to lose
Just when you think you're above it all
You better take a look at that glass on the wall
The same old face with the same old attitude
Same old face with the same old attitude
How come hatred is something we can't seem to lose
